Christa Straßmayr, Mag. phil.
Christa Straßmayr worked for several years at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Social Psychiatry. Currently she is a researcher at the Austrian National Public Health Institute (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH, GÖG). Her research expertise includes among other topics mental health promotion for socially marginalised people, migration & health, and the influence of financing mechanisms and inbuilt financial incentives on the quality of mental health care, with a substantial list of publications on these topics. She was the local responsible researcher for the EU projects PROMO and EUGATE, as well as REFINEMENT. She also is an expert in addiction prevention.
